Cielo is a distinctive residential development that blends contemporary architecture with historic preservation, introducing a refined modern living experience in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood. Through thoughtful design and cultural integration, the project reimagines urban luxury while maintaining a strong connection to the city’s architectural heritage.

Project Summary
Located at 300 Bloor Street West in Toronto’s Annex, Cielo is a luxury residential tower developed by Collecdev in partnership with Markee Developments and designed by KPMB Architects. Rising above the restored Bloor Street United Church, the project seamlessly integrates a contemporary high-rise with a preserved neo-Gothic landmark, creating a unique architectural dialogue between past and present.
The 35 storey tower introduces hundreds of residential suites alongside curated amenity spaces, wellness-focused design, and expansive city views. Positioned steps from the University of Toronto, cultural institutions, and major transit connections, Cielo offers residents a lifestyle rooted in accessibility, design innovation, and community engagement. Sustainability also plays a central role in the development, with energy-efficient building systems, green roof areas, and environmentally conscious materials contributing to long-term environmental performance and alignment with Toronto Green Standards.
Cielo’s integration of heritage architecture with a modern residential tower introduced added complexity to the design selection process. The project required:

TIA collaborated closely with the project’s development and design teams to configure a customized Online Design Studio tailored to Cielo’s unique architecture and interior design program.
Complex suite variations, finish collections, and upgrade options were translated into a structured digital workflow, enabling homeowners to make informed selections through an intuitive and guided design experience. The platform supported TIA’s personalized design appointments while providing the development and construction teams with centralized data management and real-time reporting.
By streamlining communication and consolidating selections into a single system, TIA helped simplify coordination across departments while maintaining the high level of service expected for a luxury development. The result was an efficient selection process that enhanced both operational performance and the homeowner journey, reinforcing Cielo’s vision of modern living rooted in thoughtful design.
